The Ark has come a long way from its humble beginnings
as a drafty, windowless old barn when the club officially opened
in 1948. Today, its warm, rustic atmosphere provides a comfortable
year-round clubhouse, social center and all-around meeting place
for members to gather for conversation, a bite to eat in the dining
room or on the patio, drinks at the bar, or just to relax. The ark
is also the setting for many of our scheduled
activities and social events such as gourmet dinners prepared by our own chef, formal dances,
auctions and casino nights. The Ark is frequently the scene of impromptu
parties as well.
The Weston Field Club is proud to boast our very
own chef, William Fleischner, known affectionately as "Chef
Bill." In addition to preparing high quality
cuisine at the Ark, Chef Bill also provides catering services, and
occasionally offers cooking classes. Check back regularly to see
